The Carcross / Tagish Wildlife Habitat Restoration Project: Waste Survey & Brownfield Revegetation has two main components: a remote operated vehicle waste survey of Windy Arm – Tagish Lake, and the restoration of brownfield sites using traditional and contemporary ethnobotany knowledge and techniques. The aim of these two components is to protect wildlife and fish from potential contaminants, and restore disturbed land into thriving habitat.
